Appropriate money for Grants.​

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Mid-June Grant Act’
(2) This Act may be numbered as P.B01-026
(3) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(4) This Act has been authored by Ameslap.
(5) This Act is co-sponsored by Prime Minister Dartanboy

2 - Reasons
(1) The Ministry of Trade and Finance is given the power to regulate grants, however they do not have the funding to do so.
(2) This is not a budget bill, it is a one-time appropriation.
(3) Grants are needed to help boost our economy.

3 - Appropriation
(1) The Ministry of Trade and Finance shall be appropriated £40,000 for the explicit use of creating grants.
(a) This shall come from the SCGovernment account.
(b) This is not an automatically renewable fund and the Minister of Trade and Finance must request replenishments to the fund as needed.

4 - Grant Creation
(1) Within 7 days of this act's assent the Ministry of Trade and Finance will publish and begin accepting grant applications for new and existing businesses, defined by the Minister of Trade and Finance with consultation of the Cabinet.
