1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘IND Act’
(2) This Act may be numbered as P.B01-042 (to be set by the Speaker)
(3) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(4) This Act has been authored by Ameslap and the Sovereign Kingdom Party.
(5) This Act has been co-sponsored by Prime Minister Dartanboy

2 - Reasons
(1) Many citizens want to participate in governance but are not part of a party.

3 - Amend the Constitution
(1) Section 5.5 is amended to read: “Voting System. Members will be elected according to a proportional voting system defined by Parliament.”

AMENDMENT 01
Should the associated Motion to Amend pass, the IND Act shall be amended by changing §3(1) to the following:

"(1) Section 5.5 is amended to read: “Voting System. Members will be elected according to a closed party list proportional voting system defined by Parliament."
