Amend the Alexandrian Electoral Act​

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act

(a) may be cited as ‘Independent Candidate Fixes Act’ or ‘EFA’.​

(b) may be numbered as P.B.06-022.​

(c) shall be enacted upon receiving royal assent.​

(d) has been authored by Secretary of Internal Affairs ItsStormcraft and Member of Parliament Talion77.​

(e) has been co-sponsored by Member of Parliament ComplexKing.​

2 — Fixes to Poll Configuration
§6(2) of the Alexandrian Electoral Act shall be amended as follows:

"Parties shall be listed on the ballot by their official abbreviation in a distinct manner, including their full name if possible or otherwise an abbreviated version and their official abbreviation. Independent candidates shall be listed on the ballot by their username and with an "IND" qualifier."​

3 — Fixes to STPV
§8(4) of the Alexandrian Electoral Act shall be amended as follows:

"Any time a ballot is transferred, it becomes attributed to its highest-ranked contender that has not already achieved quota or been eliminated that is not an already elected independent candidate and has not been eliminated. That contender is the ballot’s next valid choice.​
