1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the First Parliament Act.
(2) This Act may be numbered as P.B. 01-017.
(3) This bill shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(4) This bill was authored by Capt11543, a member of the Labour Party.
(5) This bill was co-sponsored by MP MrRoyaltys.
2 - Reasons
(1) More people should have the ability to ask questions of the Prime Minister during Prime Minister's Questions.
(2) The Index of Parliamentary Motions is better suited for the Standing Orders of Parliament.
3 - Prime Minister's Questions
(1) Section 13 of the Legislative Branch Act shall be amended as follows:
“(13) Prime Minister's Questions
(1) At least once per month, an in-game or discord session must take place where members of the Opposition, represented by the Leader of the Opposition, may ask questions and debate the Prime Minister where the Opposition party, and the crossbench parties, if any, represented by their respective party leaders, as well as the public, may ask questions of the Prime Minister.
4 - Parliamentary Motions
(1) Section 14 of the Legislative Branch Act shall be struck, and all subsequent sections shall be renumbered appropriately.

(1) Section 13 of the Legislative Branch Act shall be amended as follows:
“(13) Prime Minister's Questions

(a) The Leader of the Opposition may ask up to five questions, and up to one supplemental question for each question.
(b) The leaders of the crossbench parties may ask up to one question each, and up to one supplemental question for each question.
(c) The public shall be allotted up to three questions.
(i) The Office of the Speaker shall maintain a publicly accessible Discord forum channel for the purposes of taking question submissions from the public, and shall create a new post in that channel for each PMQs session.
(ii) The Office of the Speaker shall choose the public questions to be asked from the current week's post, but need not fill all three slots.
(iii) The Speaker shall ask the Prime Minister the chosen questions during the PMQs session on behalf of the public. No supplemental questions are permitted for public questions.”
