Fund the government for the month of September 2026​

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act
(a) may be cited as the September 2026 Appropriations Act.
(b) may be numbered as P.B.06-XXX.
(c) shall be enacted immediately upon receiving assent from Her Majesty the Queen.
(d) has been authored by Prime Minister McBrittle419.
(e) has been co-sponsored by Member of Parliament bloodyrebals.

2 - Government Balances as of 8/13/2026
(1) General Fund (SCGovernment) - £431,565.72

(2) General In-Game Fund (Player Balance: SCGovernment) - £4,066.67

(3) Ministry of Justice (GovJustice) - £3,445.75

(4) Ministry of Trade and Finance (GovCommerce) - £31,924.57

(5) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (GovForeign) - £10,000.00

(6) Ministry of Development (GovDevelop) - £75,152.84

(7) Ministry of Welfare (GovEducation) - £21,130.39

(8) Ministry of Internal Affairs (GovInterior) - £19,500.00

(9) Government Legislature (GovLegislature) - £5,000.00

(10) Total - £601,785.94

3 - Appropriations
(1) Parliament hereby appropriates the following total budgets to each of the following accounts:
(a) General Fund (SCGovernment) - £221,285.94
(b) General In-Game Fund (Player Balance: SCGovernment) - £4,000
(c) Ministry of Justice (GovJustice) - £30,000
(d) Ministry of Trade and Finance (GovCommerce) - £30,000
(e) Ministry of Development (GovDevelop) - £35,000
(f) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (GovForeign) - £10,000
(g) Ministry of Welfare (GovEducation) - £17,500
(h) Ministry of Internal Affairs (GovInterior) - £35,000
(i) Monarch's Expenses (SCGovernment) - £7,000
(j) Office of the Prime Minister (SCGovernment) - £2,000
(k) Judiciary (SCGovernment) - £5,000
(l) Parliament (GovLegislature) - £5,000
(m) Emergency Fund (GovReserve) - £200,000
(m) Total - £601,785.94

(2) The appropriations in subsection (1) shall be achieved by pooling the funds from each account listed in subsection (1) and distributing the given amount to each account.
(a) The total expected amount appropriated to the SCGovernment account is £235,285.94.
(b) Any discrepancies between the expected and actual appropriations shall be resolved by crediting or debiting the difference to the general fund.

(3) The appropriations in subsection (1)(m) shall be considered a Emergency Fund and appropriated to GovReserve. The Government has come to accumulate a large amount of funds over time. Based on the history of appropriations, there is no need for the Government to hold on to such a large amount of money that is not otherwise being appropriated. To prevent frivolous and impulsive spending of large amounts of Government funds, the Government will set aside a portion of funds in the Alexandrian Monetary Bureau in the form of an Emergency Fund.
(a) The Alexandrian Monetary Bureau is not permitted to use or spend any money appropriated to them for the Emergency Fund.
(b) The Alexandrian Monetary Bureau must keep track of the amount and any activity in the Emergency Fund as part of the Bureau's normal record keeping.
(c) Any transfer of funds from the Emergency Fund back to the Government must receive Parliamentary approval via an amendment to appropriations.

4 - Appropriations Terms
(1) These appropriations shall be effective until a new appropriations bill is enacted.
