Due to the increase in gaming machines and contracts, the Ministry of Trade and Finance has decided to regulate gaming with the following regulations.
1. Gaming Machines
(1) “Gaming Machine” shall be defined as: A contraption in which a player or legal entity bets or risks something of value (like money) based on a chance outcome that is out of their control or influence with the understanding that they will either gain increased value or lose some or all of their original value determined by a specific outcome.
(1) Regulations on Gaming Machines
(a) For each gaming machine, the owner of said machine must place within plain view:
(i) win/loss odds per spin;
(ii) the prize the player stands to win from the result of a win.
(b) Gaming Machine owners must have the necessary capital to cover their losses from the result of running a gaming machine.
(c) If a player or legal entity is found to be in violation of the above standards, they shall be notified by the MoTF and will be given five (5) days to rectify.
(2) Penalties for violations
(a) For every day after this warning period after that a player or legal entity is out of compliance, they shall be charged £100.
(b) Repeat offenders waive their right to the 5 day grace period.
