Reaffirm the cultural and symbolic importance of the Monarchy by formalizing its civic duties and expanding its role in recruitment, unity, and celebration.
BE IT ENACTED by the Crown’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the members of this 3rd Alexandrian Parliament, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act
(a) may be cited as the Royal Engagement and Cultural Unity Act or RECUA.
(b) may be numbered as P.B.03-012.
(c) shall be enacted immediately upon its assent by the Crown.
(d) has been authored by Ameslap.
(5) has been co-sponsored by <Name>.
2 - Royal Recruitment Office
(1) A Royal Recruitment Office (RRO) shall be established under the Crown.
(2) The RRO shall:
(a) Greet and guide new citizens of Alexandria, with the oversight of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
(b) Promote non-citizens to join the Kingdom through social media, incentives approved via Statutory Instruments, server listing on outside internet sites, and other methods as deemed appropriate by the Crown, with the approval of a majority of the Cabinet.
3 - Royal Week
(1) The Kingdom shall observe Royal Week biannually.
(2) Royal Week shall occur at the conclusion of a Monarch’s service, and shall end the day after a new Monarch’s Coronation.
(3) The Crown is charged with planning and executing Royal Week, with guidance and support as requested to Parliament.
4 - Crown Council
(1) The Crown is authorized to employ a staff that the Monarch deems appropriate.
(2) This staff must fit within the budget approved by Parliament for the Crown’s expenses.
(3) A single member of the Crown Council shall serve as both a Non-Voting Member of Parliament, as well as a Non-Voting Member of the Cabinet.
(a) This member will not count towards the Parliamentary Seat Limit or count as a member to form a government.
(b) This member will only have the powers of a Member of Parliament as expressly written in this act. These powers are:
(i) Ability to observe and communicate with the Cabinet communication channels as allowed by the Prime Minster.
(ii) Ability to observe and communicate with the Parliament communication channels as allowed by the Speaker of Parliament.
(4) The Deputy Prime Minister shall serve on the Crown Council.
(5) The Crown Council’s purpose is to:
(a) Coordinate cultural initiatives.
(b) Discuss national unity and recruitment efforts.
(c) Inform the Monarch on national issues.
Member of Parliament Ameslap Moves To Pass
The RECU Act
Parliament notes:
(1) The Monarch should be the face of our nation and a leader of culture and promotion.
Based on this, Parliament decides:
(1) To fund the government for the month of December 2025.
To fulfill this, Parliament projects the following expenses:
(1) None at this time.
Furthermore, Parliament projects the following administrative efforts:
(1) Staff support to create roles and give social media access to the Monarch and their staff.
