The ICE CUP was the first ever event hosted by the government of State Craft, dedicated to advancing the sport of Hockey. Players formed teams of three, wore ice-skates, and slapped a puck (Taeler) around until someone scored a goal.
The first event lasted nearly two hours and consisted of three rounds.
At the End, Crimson Forest, a visiting Team from the Commonwealth of Redmont Won the first-ever ICE CUP, and the 950-pound prize as well. NikNakkar Trading Company and SNCTM sponsored this event.
This event set the precedent for MOIA's close cooperation with private sector partners to bolster international sporting competition, while lowering costs to the Government. After the ICE CUP tournament, various items such as the ICE Skates and Hockey Sticks were sold in the MOIA gift shop, further supporting MOIA's operations and Events Division.
