Mr. Speaker, following the resignation of former High Chancellor Smallfries, it is my duty to nominate a new High Chancellor.

To that end, I wish to put forward AsexualDinosaur. He is an experienced Magistrate, who has been with the Alexandrian judiciary certainly for as long as I have been around. I'm confident that his attention to detail and legal reasoning will be major assets to the nation's Courts. I know he will have big shoes to fill, but I know just as well that he is up to the task.

Mr. Speaker,

I rise as my first and a half act of a member of parliament to move this body to call a constitutional convention.

There have been many loopholes or inadequacies in the current constitution that need amending. This motion would establish a committee to review and recommend a new constitution or amendment(s). The committee would be composed of the following:

• The Monarch or their > Representative.
• The Prime Minister
• The High Chancellor
• The Opposition Leader
• Members of Parliament
• 4 Citizens, 1 appointed by the Monarch, 1 by the Prime Minister, 1 by the Opposition, and 1 by election of citizens.

The chair of this committee shall be selected by the members upon first meeting, which will take place no later than November 30.

I'm very pleased to see Juno return to StateCraft after her extended hiatus. I know her as an experienced politician from Redmont before Alexandria's founding, one of the founders of my party, and my mentor. I hope my colleagues will welcome her back with open arms.
