Amend the Pay Scale Act to Reduce the Fiscal Salaries for
Higher Members of Government​

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act
(a) may be cited as the Fiscal Reductions and Adjustments Act,
(b) may be numbered as P.B.03-004.
(c) shall be enacted immediately upon receiving assent from Her Majesty the Queen.
(d) has been authored by MP tortenwashere.
(e) has been co-sponsored by Prime Minister Capt11543.

2 - Amendments to the Pay Scale Act
(1) §4 - Pay Levels shall be amended in the following manner:

“4 - Pay Levels
(1) Level 0: Commission | For certain government employees.

(2) Level 1: £20 £12.50 per 15 minutes | For the highest position in each branch.

(3) Level 2: £15 £11.25 per 15 minutes | For significant government officials.

(4) Level 3: £10 £7.50 per 15 minutes | For high level government officials.

(5) Level 4: £5 per 15 minutes | For certain government employees.

(6) Level 5: £2.5 per 15 minutes | Universal Basic Income.”

(2) §3 - Government Wages shall be amended in the following manner:
"3 - Government Wages
[...]

(4) Changes Increases to Member of Parliament, Minister, Speaker, or Deputy Speaker salaries will take effect following the next general election.

Parliament notes:
(1) Level 1, 2 and 3 of the Pay Scale Act gives out up to 60% more than our Redmontian counterparts.
(2) The need to raise more money for the Government to do its projects for the Kingdom is undeniable, with the The Budget Dumpster Fire Reversal Act being an example.

Based on this, Parliament decides:
(1) Amend a £2.5 reduction to Level 3, £3.5 for Level 2 and £5 for Level 1 to the Pay Scale Act

To fulfil this, Parliament projects the following expenses:
(1) None

Further, Parliament projects the following administrative efforts:
(1) Staff will need to adjust the UBI values in the plugin.

AMENDMENT 01
Should the associated Motion to Amend pass, §2(1) of the Fiscal Reductions and Adjustments Act shall be replaced with the following text:

"(1) §4 - Pay Levels shall be amended in the following manner:

“4 - Pay Levels

(2) Level 1: £20 £10 per 15 minutes | For the highest position in each branch.

AMENDMENT 02
