MOTION TO PASS BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT
Parliament considered a motion to pass this Act by unanimous consent.

Author: Capt11543
Floor Speech:
Mr. Speaker, I move to pass the I Don't Like MPagistrates Companion Act by unanimous consent.
This Act is tied to the success of the I Don't Like MPagistrates Act; if that bill doesn't pass, then this Companion bill will not be enacted.
This bill changes one line of the Electoral Act to bring the candidate eligibility requirements explicitly in line with the Constitution, which will make it easier for the Crown to contest disqualifications due to incompatibility of office in Court.
Result: PASSED
