Parliament notes:
(1) Policy set by our Minister of Internal Affairs currently violates players' 9th constitutional rights. We must do our job as Parliament and maintain oversight on the executive lest they abuse their power. We must bring the MoIA to heel.
Based on this, Parliament decides:
(1) To explicitly limit the MoIA's ability to limit players' party membership.
To implement this, Parliament projects the following expenses:
(1) None
Further, Parliament projects the following administrative efforts:
(1) The MoIA will likely have to look through existing policy to repeal anything that may conflict with this act.
To implement the above, Parliament passes:

2 - Party Membership
(1) The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall not under any circumstances by policy, fiat or any other measures:
3 - Existing Policy
(1) Any existing MoIA policy that contradicts language set forth in this act shall be considered unenforceable, legally void and shall be repealed immediately .

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act
(a) may be cited as ‘Freedom of Affiliation Act'.
(b) may be numbered as P.B.04-044.
(c) shall be enacted upon being publicly assented.
(d) has been authored by Minister of Foreign Affairs, PhillinDeBlanc.
(e) has been co-sponsored by Member of Parliament, ConsequencesInc.
2 - Party Membership
(1) The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall not under any circumstances by policy, fiat or any other measures:
(a) limit the participation of any player in any political party or parties;
(b) cajole a political party into limiting the participation of their members in a different political party or parties.
(2) A political party may limit the participation of their members in other political parties as they see fit.3 - Existing Policy
