Codify Property Zoning Within Alexandria​

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act
(a) may be cited as the Property Zoning Act.
(b) may be numbered as P.B.##-###.
(c) shall be enacted immediately upon receiving assent from His Majesty the King.
(d) has been authored by Prime Minister McBrittle419
(e) has been co-sponsored by Parliament Member ConsequencesInc.

2. Commercial plots
(1) Plots beginning with ‘c-’ are commercial plots (e.g. c-9-regent-st).
(2) Commercial plots may be used for businesses, shops, apartments, offices, or other commercial purposes and shall not be used for residences.

3. Commercial Business District plots
(1) Plots beginning with ‘cbd’ are commercial business district plots (e.g. cbd00).
(2) Commercial business district plots are rentable properties owned by the Crown used for commercial purposes.

4. Residential-Commercial plots
(1) Plots beginning with ‘rc-’ are residential-commercial plots (e.g. rc-4-pier-st).
(2) As the name implies, residential-commercial plots may be used for both/either residential and/or commercial purposes as the property owner sees fit.

5. Residential plots
(1) Plots beginning with ‘r-’ are residential plots (e.g. r-11-stirling-st).
(2) Residential plots shall be used as a player’s residence and may not be used for commercial purposes.

6. New-Player plots
(1) New-players are eligible for new-player-plots for 60 days following their initial join date.
(2) New-player plots may be comprised of any of the aforementioned zoning types.
(a) New-player CBDs can be found down the main road immediately west of spawn. They are marked with a sign designating them as new-player CBDs. Following the end of the players’ initial 60 days, new-player CBDs must be unrented.
(b) Other plots designated to new players shall be publicly noted within the method of distribution designated by the MoD.

7. Black Market plots
(1) Plots beginning with ‘bm’ are black market plots (e.g. ‘bm001’).
(2) Black market plots are exempt from certain laws. Such laws include possession, sale, and advertising of illicit items, theft, and murder.

8. Beaumont Castle
(1) Beaumont Castle is owned exclusively by the monarch to use as the monarch sees fit.
(2) Beaumont Castle shall be passed down to the succeeding monarch immediately following the end of a monarch’s term.

9. Government Zoning
(1) All other zones within Alexandria are public zones owned by the Crown.
(2) The Ministry of Development is representative of the Crown and charged with the development and upkeep of all government zoning.
