Regulate Petitions Concerning the Rules​

1 - About this Act
(1) This Act;
(a) May be cited as ‘Petition Regulation Act of 2026’.
(b) May be numbered as P.B.##-### (to be assigned by the Office of the Speaker).
(c) Shall be enacted upon receiving assent from His Majesty the King.
(d) Has been authored by Member of Parliament hello1341.
(e) Has been co-sponsored by Member of Parliament TurtleDude247.

2 - Amendments to the Government Organization Act
(1) Section 26 - Petitions shall be amended in the following manner:
(3) Once 15 signatures are met, Parliament is obligated to hold a Referendum on the contents of the petition within 3 days, unless the petition revolves around a matter
(a) which is beyond the powers of the Government, as set forth by the Constitution or Acts of Parliament,
(b) relating to criminal investigations or proceedings,
(c) relating to judicial proceedings,
(d) relating to a player’s employment with the Government or,
(e) of foreign relations ,or.
(f) any changes to the rules including the acceptance of a rule change request from Redmont or the sending of such request to Redmont for approval.

Petition Regulation Act of 2026​

Parliament notes:
(1) Currently it is ambiguous if a rules change is foreign relations matter.

Based on this, Parliament decides:
(1) To make it more clear that petitions regarding rule changes are not binding petitions by amending the Government Organization Act.

To fulfil this, Parliament projects the following expenses:
(1) None.

Further, Parliament projects the following administrative efforts:
(1) None.

To implement the above, Parliament passes:
