The Press Advisor is an expert in the field of Journalism and public relations, serving as the formal spokesperson and media liaison of the Prime Minister and cabinet. The Press Advisor is responsible for holding press conferences, communicating with media agencies, and representing the executive to the media.

The Press Advisor reports directly to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. It is expected that publicly, the Press Advisor will support government decisions. The Press Advisor must be able to VC.

For the interim government of Alexandria only, the Press Advisor is also expected to provide feedback and assistance to media law setup.
