Why do you want this position?: As defined, the Librarian:
- Maintain(s) the StateCraft wiki
The StateCraft wiki is in a woefully incomplete state. It is quite literally a single page. There are other pages, but they are hidden by a "random page" button. There are hotlinks that go to pages that are a work-in-progress.
The StateCraft wiki should be THE resource for advanced material. It's the place where the jobs are defined and job exams questions often are, but there is no dedicated jobs page. As Librarian, I want to, at the very least, have the hot links on the main pages to be send to moderately informative pages. These are future intentions.
The primary reason I want this position is to be able to update it. Not necessarily add new pages, but if said pages were to be created - to make sure they aren't outdated, at the very least.
What skills or experience do you have that could be useful in this position?: Wiki-editing is a matter of formatting and knowledgeability. With a well-done wiki for our sister server and pre-made page settings, I don't forsee formatting to be that large of an issue, which leaves knowledgeability. I know the basics of government, of all its branches, knowledge of the economy due to my job(s), and I have free-time.
