IN THE MAGISTRATE'S COURT OF THE KINGDOM OF ALEXANDRIA
CRIMINAL ACTION

The Crown, Prosecution

v.

LukeyyyMC_, Defendant
lucaaasserole, Defendant

I. CRIMINAL COMPLAINT
On September 27, 2025, a DemocracyCraft server restart occurred, which caused a massive influx of players logging onto StateCraft. The high concentration of players in the New Hamilton spawn plaza caused general chaos, during which Defendants committed several murders. Ministry of Justice records show that Defendants were responsible for over 20 deaths during the DemocracyCraft shutdown. Additionally, while detectives at the scene were investigating evidence, Defendants impeded their investigations by targeting them with violence.

II. PARTIES
  1. The Crown, represented by the Ministry of Justice
  2. LukeyyyMC_
  3. lucaaasserole

III. FACTS
  1. On September 27, 2025, DemocracyCraft underwent a server restart.
  2. During the server restart, a large number of players joined StateCraft and gathered in the spawn plaza.

  4. Ministry of Justice records show that LukeyyyMC_ was responsible for 14 deaths during this period.
  5. MoJ records show that lucaaasserole was responsible for 7 deaths during this period.
  6. During the chaos, multiple Ministry of Justice employees were present to gather evidence of the attacks, and were themselves targeted with violence.

IV. ARGUMENT
By non-consensually killing multiple players, both Defendants have committed murder. See A.P.01-006 §21(2)(a):
Murder - A player is guilty of murder if they intentionally and knowingly or with extreme recklessness kill another player without consent from the other them.

Additionally, by murdering detectives as they were performing their jobs and gathering evidence for the Ministry of Justice, both Defendants have committed Obstruction of Justice. See id. §20(7)(a):
Obstruction of Justice - A player is guilty of obstruction of justice if they willfully and deliberately act in a manner which hinders the apprehension, conviction, defense, or punishment of any player.

There is no proof of me doing any crimes as that screenshot could be fraudulent, so I plead not guilty. Thanks gribby, this case should be an easy one.

ENTREATY TO COMPEL

The Crown beseeches the Court to issue a Writ to Compel a representative from Staff to provide global chat logs from September 27, 2025 during the server shutdown. The Crown believes that these logs may contain both evidence which the Crown may use at trial, and evidence which may be exculpatory to the Defendant.

SUBMISSION OF DISCOVERY

Attached is P-002, the complete Ministry of Justice case records from September 27, 2025. The Crown submits this evidence to fulfill its duty to turn over to the Defense all evidence which may be exculpatory to the Defendant.

OBJECTION

We already had this evidence, are you trying to waste the judges time or something? Gribble I know your busy so just give me and Luca a not guilty verdict and tell this joke of a prosecutor to sit down, because bringing evidence we already have to discovery is laughable.

RESPONSE TO OBJECTION

OBJECTION

We already had this evidence, are you trying to waste the judges time or something? Gribble I know your busy so just give me and Luca a not guilty verdict and tell this joke of a prosecutor to sit down, because bringing evidence we already have to discovery is laughable.

Your Honor, while P-001 and P-002 contain overlapping information, they are not identical, and serve different purposes.

P-001 contains only the Ministry of Justice records which directly link Defendants to the alleged murders. It is intended to show that there is probable cause to proceed with criminal action.

P-002 contains  all MoJ records from the date of the alleged murders. It is intended to fulfill the Crown's obligation to turn over to the Defense all evidence of which we are aware that may be exculpatory to the Defendant. (See A.P.01-006 §10(2), quoted below)
Once a determination on the answer is filed, both sides may submit requests for discovery. The Crown is compelled to provide any exculpatory evidence to the player, as well as any evidence which they intend to use during trial.

Respectfully submitted,
Capt11543
Crown Prosecutor

This objection is overruled. Although the evidence partly overlaps with other evidence already submitted, it is still different. Further, the court does not see how submitting evidence during the Discovery period, as intended, would lead to wasting anyone's time.

The Court would hereby like to remind all parties that following the Court Rules and Procedures, both general and specific to the magistrates' court, is required within this case. Furthermore, I will not allow personal attacks, insults or other forms of disrespectful and disruptive behavior in this courtroom. Any future instances of such behavior within this case will result in being found guilty of Contempt of a Judicial Officer.

GRANTED, you may amend the filing. Due to this amendment, in line with our Court Rules and Procedures, the Defendants have 72 hours to amend their Answers would they wish to do so.

Discovery has now ended. We will continue to the Prosecution's opening statement once the 72 hours described above have passed, or once all Defendants have made it clear that they do not wish to amend their Answers.
